Time & Location
About The Event
Has your boss ever "voluntold" you to take photos at a work event? Truly, it can be a tough gig. However, this class will give you skills and confidence to capture compelling pictures of corporate or business events. Believe it!
We'll start off with a brief overview then pair up and practice these techniques with one another. At the end of the evening, you'll walk away confident with this new skill. This class is for photographers of all skill levels.
You'll learn how to get on-track using your camera indoors with your camera's built-in flash or an external flash.
- Common problems and their causes ;
- Evaluating ambient exposure ;
- Blending ambient light with flash ;
- Setting a custom white balance to ensure proper colors;
- Making flash look soft, natural, and beautiful; and
- Composition traps to avoid.
Bring your camera and, if available, an external flash - you'll practicing what you've learned with one another. We will have a few Nikon external flashes available to use during class.
