The Irving Art Association is holding its 16th competition on animal art. Entry fee: $35. Deadline: July 26, 2017
VSA Texas/Mobile Art Program invites all Texas seniors age 55+ who are new to creating art or who are experienced artists working in a new medium to submit artwork for an exhibition at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. No entry fee. 2D and 3D media are eligible. Deadline: August 14, 2017
The City of Frisco's Public Art Program is looking for artists for its Art in the Atrium 15 exhibition. 2D art is welcome. No entry fee. Deadline: August 21, 2017
The Art Gallery at the Old Bakery & Emporium has a call for art for its 2018 monthly exhibits. Applicants must be at least 50 years of age and live in Travis or an adjoining county. 2D, 3D, and installation art is welcome. No entry fee. Deadline: September 16, 2017
